Anders Wester

Well there isn't much we can say, except that this little prick has dominated the event since he arrived. In fact, in the 2000 event, on his first day of Grappa Invitational competition, he didn't just post the first sub-80 round in Grappa Invitational history, he posted the first ever sub-70! round in Grappa Invitational history. A 69 on the first day proved to be an omen, as he beat his own record in 2007 with a 68. He has won the Grand Championship (the gross-score competition) in every event he has entered, and dominated the Grappa Amateur (the net-score competition) early on, winning three out of the first four. His dominance, however, (at least in the Grappa Amateur) has waned, his latest victory coming in 2015.

Anders and Jeff Parker met in Lund, Sweden in the late 90's and introduced Jeff to the rest of what is now Team Sweden. They traveled across the pond for the first time in 2000 making the event what it is today.
