Andreas Wester

One of the twins from Sweden, Andreas is always in the mix, but was outdone for years by ... you guessed it ... his twin brother. Maybe a little quieter and more mild-mannered than the rest of Team Sweden, don't let his laid-back demeanor fool you, he is out to win every time he steps onto the tee, and that determination finally paid off in 2005 when he recorded his first (and only to date) Grappa Amateur victory. In 2009, he also the only person to ever win the Grappa Invitational Grand Championship (gross score) when both Team USA and Team Sweden attended, although with the caveat that his brother couldn't make it that year.
A bad case of the "Yips" in 2002, when he couldn't make anything outside two feet, led to the "Flat Stick" nickname. After straightening out the putting, he became "Poker Face", no big mystery considering his calm demeanor, and he is certainly a formidable opponent at the nightly poker game.
