Scott Decker

Scott Decker's friendship with 2 of the founding members of the Grappa Invitational (Mike Webb and Jeff Parker) goes back many, many .... many years, to when we were just teenagers.

He first joined us for the American-only 2011 Grappa Invitational. While the many demands on Scott's precious time, including but not limited to, Congressional committees, foreign governments, think tanks, and philanthropic organizations, always make it difficult for him to fit us into his schedule, he also attended Grappa Invitationals in 2013, 2017, and 2022.

All kidding aside ... unfortunately Scott's persistent back problems have prevented him from joining us every time, but we are glad to have him with us any time we can. And while his scoring overall hasn't been up to his standards, he has drained a crucial putt to secure a point for Team USA more than once.
